  • Paste 3 cup penne
  • Oil 1½
  • Onion 1 medium chopped
  • Carrot 2 chopped
  • Capsicum 1 medium chopped
  • Broccoli 1/4 cup chopped
  • Butter 2 Tbsp.
  • Garlic cloves 4-7 finely chopped
  •  All-purpose flour 1 Tbsp. (maida)
  • Milk 1½ cups
  • Oregano 1/4 Tsp.
  •  Red chili flakes 1/4 Tsp.
  • Pinch of black pepper powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Grated cheese to garnish

Process of making Pasta in White Sause 

Step 1

In a pot, take 4½ cup water and place the pot on medium flame.

Step 2

Let it boil and when it starts boiling, add 3 cup penne pasta with 1 tbsp. oil and 1/2 Tsp. salt.

Step 3

Cook pasta till al-dente (lightly cooked). This will take around 10 to 15 minutes. To check whether it is cooked or not, take pasta and eat. It will be a little firm to bite when it is cooked.

Step 4

Drain the pasta in the strainer and wash under running water. And then keep it aside to let cool at room temperature.

Step 5

While pasta is cooking, chop the vegetables (carrot, capsicum, onion, and broccoli).

Step 6

Place a non-stick pan on medium flame; add 1/2 tbsp. oil. Add 1 medium chopped onion and sauté it till it turns translucent.

Step 7

Add 2 chopped carrots, 1 medium chopped capsicum, 1/4 cup chopped broccoli and salt to taste.

Step 8

Stir the veggies till they are slightly cooked. Veggies will remain little crunchy. This will take 3 to 4 minutes. Switch off the flame and transfer it to the plate.

Step 9

In the same pan, heat 2 tbsp. butter over a medium flame. Add 6-7 finely chopped garlic cloves and sauté till raw aroma of garlic is gone.

Step 10

Now, add 1 tbsp. all-purpose flour to it and stir it for a minute. Make sure no lumps of Maida get formed in it.

Step 11

Take 1½ cups milk and slowly pour it into the pan while continuously stirring it.Stir it for 2 minutes and then simmer the flame.

Step 12

Continue stirring till the mixture starts thickening. This will take approximately 4-5 minutes.

Step 13

Once the mixture has started to thicken, add 1/4 Tsp. oregano, 1/4 Tsp. red chili flakes, a pinch of black pepper powder and salt to taste. Mix well.Now, add vegetables and pasta to the white sauce and mix well.

Step 14

Cook for a minute and turn off the flame. Transfer it to plate and garnish it with grated cheese while it is still hot.Your creamy white sauce pasta is Ready.
