Paneer is main course dish for specially for vegetarians. Make Paneer in restaurant style at home is interesting.Today we will make Paneer Lababdar Recipe.

Ingredients to Cook Paneer Lababdar

  • 125 grams ripe red tomatoes
  • 5 to 6 cashews
  • 1/4 Inch chopped Ginger
  • 1 to 2 chopped garlic
  • Cardamon 1
  • 1 Cloves
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 100 grams paneer
  • 1 tablespoon grated paneer
  • 50 grams chopped Onion
  • 1 tej patta
  • 1 green chilli
  • 1/ cumin powder
  • 1/4 corinder powder
  • Pinch of Garam masala
  • 1/4 teaspoon chilli powder
  • 3 Tablespoon Low fat Cream
  • 1 teaspoon Kasturi methi 1 teaspoon
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 cup water for gravy
  • Salt as Required
  • 1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves

Process of making Paneer Lababdar Recipe

Step 1

First we have to make Cashew Tomato paste for that you need 5 to 6 Cashews, 3/4 cup Chopped tomatoes, and 1/4 inch chopped ginger, 1 to 2 chopped garlic, 1 cardamom, 1 cloves and 1/4 cup of water in a pan.

Step 2

Keep the pan on the low flame and cook until the tomatoes get softened. You can add some water if the tomatoes are not softened.

Step 3

Once the tomatoes are soften and well cooked keep it a side for cool completely. Take a mixer jar and grind to make a smooth paste if required add some water.

Step 4

Now we have to make Gravy for Paneer Lababdar for that heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a pan and add 1 Indian bay leaf, ( tej patta)  saute for few seconds then add chopped 100 grams chopped onions again stir it and saute until onion becomes light Golden.

Step 5

Next slowly add the above Cashew and tomato paste in the pan.Stir it nicely.

Step 6

Add some masalas 1/4 teaspoon red chilli, 1/4 teaspoon cumin powder and 1/4 teaspoon coriander powder then stir and saute until the masala clumping and gathering around itself.

Step 7

Slowly add 1/2 cup water and stir it nicely and add 1 slit green chilies.Now stir the gravy on simmer flames and add salt and sugar.

Step 8

Cut paneer which ever size or shape you like and add 100 grams paneer to the gravy and also add 1 tablespoon grated paneer.

Step 9

Stir the paneer for about a minute and sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon crushed Kasturi meti along with Pinch of garam masala.

Step 10

Next, Stir it well for a minute and add 3 tablespoon cream. Your Paneer Lababdar Recipe is ready Garnish coriander leaves.
