Mango Pudding is a common cold dessert recipe which is originated from India during 19th century. The pudding is typically prepared with gelatin or agar with mango cream, sugar puree for the sweet taste. It is a popular mango dessert which is prepared during the mango season or Summer. The dessert can be mixed with vanilla, coffee and strawberry flavors. The common thing which is used for making the mango pudding is agar.

How to Make Mango Pudding
The first step for making a delicious mango pudding is taking 1 tablespoon of agar.We need to mix 2 tablespoons of hot water with 1 tablespoon of agar in a big mixing bowl.
You need to mix it well till the agar is dissolved completely.

After the process of dissolving completely the agar, the mixture is to be added with 2 cups of mango puree.
Mix the puree and agar well making sure that the pulps get mixed with the agar evenly.
The next step is to place the serving glasses in a bowl. This will make the serving glass slightly tilted.
Mango mixture is then to be poured into the tilted glass till the mixture reaches the top.
You need to next refrigerate it for two hours. You can also keep it overnight it won’t get spoiled. After the refrigeration process, check whether the mango has settled to the bottom.
Now is the time to prepare the cream. For this, we need to heat the milk for making the cream.
During the milk is being heated, add 1 tablespoon of agar or gelatin and whisk it well.
Cook the milk till it does not boil on a medium to low heat.
Further, add the cup cream to the milk and whisk it well. Additionally, add the kept half cup of sugar and 1 tablespoon of vanilla essence and a pinch of salt.
Whisk it well till the sugar is dissolved totally in the milk. Then allow the milk to cool down for 10 minutes before pouring it in the glass.
The last step is to pour the milk into the glass, refrigerate it for 2 hours till it settles down. Finally, put some chopped mangoes into it and enjoy the mango pudding.
Ingredients required for making the Mango Pudding
For the creamy layer:
- 1 cup of milk, totally cream.
- 1 cup of cream.
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract or vanilla essence.
- A pinch of salt.
- Half cup of sugar (powdered).
- 1 tablespoon agar or gelatin.
For the mango layer:
- 2 cups of mango puree.
- 1 tablespoon of agar or gelatin or china grass.
- 2 tablespoon of hot water.
