Make Cream At Home

Making your own cream at home might sound to be a difficult task. However, there are very simple steps that can be followed to get the desired results. Cream can be used in icing the cake or other tasks. Well, if there is no heavy cream available at your place, don’t worry about that you can still make cream at home.

Prep Time: 3 Hours

 

Ingredients for Cream

  1. Water- ½ cup
  2. China Grass or Agar-Agar (as per your choice)- 1 teaspoon
  3. Full Cream Milk- 1 cup
  4. Powdered Sugar- 1 tablespoon
  5. Vanilla essence- 1 teaspoon

Note: The Ingredients required are mentioned below, therefore go through the process carefully to understand the making.Here I am Using Agar for making Cream you can also use China Grass Or Gelatin (In gelatin meat Substance is used)

Process to make Cream

Step 1

First and foremost take ½ cup of water and pour it into a pan.

Step 2

Then add one teaspoon of agar into the water, without letting the flame of the gas on.

Step 3

After 10 minutes, switch on the flame and stir the agar and water mixture nicely.

Step 4

Allow the Agar and water mix so that the solution of the two looks uniform and smooth.

Step 5

After about 5 minutes of stirring, switch off the flame and allow the mixture to cool down a bit.

Step 6

Then pour two cups of full cream milk into a bowl.

Step 7

Add the agar and water mixture into the bowl and whisk them so that there are no lumps formed in the solution.

Step 8

After having done this, add 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence.Continue stirring it well for another 10 minutes.

Step 9

Keep the mixture in the refrigerator and after a span of 10 minutes keep on stirring it, so that the mixture remains smooth.

Step 10

Take out the bowl after about 2 hours and using a hand blender whisk the mixture. You will see a smooth cream ready in the bowl.

Tips and Variations

  1. If you want the icing to be of some other flavor or your cream to be of different taste, you can always make variations in taste by changing the essence.
