How to Cook Kaju Paneer Masala Curry
Step by step process of making the gravy and rest.
Step 1: Heat 2 tsp of oil in a pan. After some time, add 50gms cashews and muskmelon seeds along with spices like cumin seeds, cinnamon sticks, poppy seeds, cloves, cardamom, and coriander seeds. Stir them for few minutes till they splutter.
Step 2: Afterwards, add 2 dried red chillies, 2 chopped onions, 2 sliced tomatoes, 4 cloves of garlic, 1 sliced ginger, and coriander leaves to the pan and fry till the tomatoes and onions become soft.
Step 3: Let the mixture get cooled. Now, stir them so, they become like a paste.
Step 4: In another pan, heat 1 tsp oil. Add butter or ghee along with some Shahjeera and Bayleaf. You have to fry till it sputters.
Step 5: Now, add the paste of tomatoes, onions and other items created earlier to the pan. You have to stir till the oil separates from the paste.
Step 6: Afterwards, add 3tsp turmeric, red chilli powder, 1 tsp Garam Masala, and salt to the mixture. You have to add red chilli powder and salt as per your taste. If you like it spicy and salty, then add more chilli powder and salt and vice-versa. You have to cook it for few minutes.
Step 7: Afterwards, add Paneer cubes along with Saffron and cook for few minutes.
Step 8: Finally, the dish is ready to serve. For garnishing, you can use fried onions and coriander leaves.
Stir-frying Paneer cubes
Step 1: At first, you have to deep fry the 500gms cubes of paneer. In the pan, heat 2 tablespoons of oil or butter in low flame.
Step 2: After the heating of oil or butter, pour the paneer cubes in the pan.
Step 3: Now, stir the cubes to make sure they don’t get burnt. You have to stir them until they acquire golden colour.
Step 4: Keep them aside after frying.
